Two Years Down.....

On the road again this past weekend, back to Nashville to see the fam. My grandparents came up from Florida so we all drove in from near and far to see them, since I havent seen them in 2 years. Saturday morning we all met for breakfast and had a great time passing around great-grandkids and catching up on each other's lives over bacon and eggs. Here's a picture of the whole family (minus Renee, who had to leave early to work). It's not everyday that you get four generations of family together at a time, and I feel very lucky that everyone was able to come together.

On Sat. night Ted and I went to dinner at my favorite restaurant in Nashville, the Bound'ry, with my 3 best girlfriends from home--Anne, Jaclyn, and Blair. Ted has been the newest addition to the group for the past few years, but was recently joined by Jaclyn's new husband, Pat. Again, its amazing how much every circle is growing!

Ted and I got to celebrate our 2nd anniversary yesterday :) He surprised me at work by coming in with flowers, then took me to lunch downtown. He told me to be ready for dinner right after work (he always threatens to take me to McDonald's for special occasions) and we had an absolutely fabulous dinner at Morton's--their steak is some of the best I've had (and I lived in Texas). Stuffed, we staggered back home to the couch to watch the Colts win again, and all in all it was a great anniversary. Thanks, Love! It's been a crazy, wonderful, revealing, exhilirating, humbling, inspiring, surprising, and blissful 2 years...and I can't wait for more...
