Cape Cod Wedding

Last week was wonderful, because we got to see Ted's brother Peter and his longtime girlfriend Tara get married! They had a gorgeous ceremony outside in Cape Cod. We all stayed in this really cool old farmhouse together and literally, everything was perfect! We all just cooked and ate and built fires (it was actually Fall in New England!) and let the kids run around, and got to celebrate even more expansion of the family. Tara has always seemed like part of the family anyway, so it was especially cool to get to see them tie the knot in front of the people they love.

We spent some time in Boston, too. I went once in college but still wasn't too familiar with the city, so it was really fun to stomp around and explore. The history there is evident, which I love. We even had lunch at the oldest restaurant in America (yep!), Union Oyster House. Delicious clam chowder!

Jude and Ada were good little travelers overall. Although, what trip would be complete without a little of this?

And yes, we went old school one night and put Ada to sleep in a dresser drawer. She is still alive:)

The kids are doing well. Ada had her 4 month checkup today and weighs almost 15 pounds. I think I'm going to wait a bit longer before giving her cereal...keep her a baby a bit longer:) But check out her new trick! She stands! Well, that's an exaggeration, I'm actually sort of propping her up on the table. But she stands there for a long time every day on her adorable little sausage legs, peering at big brother with her huge peepers. She's such a silly goose, and makes me smile so many times a day.
